If I lived in a big city but still liked to get out, I think I'd go with the Jimmy. Also I'm sure gas mileage in the little Jimmy is great.

I've been. Sadly the damp weather shown is quite a thing there.

I had a Hyundai i10 though which doesn't allow you go anywhere like this. It says IN BIG LETTERS on the rental agreement that you're not allowed to drive on any of the four wheel drive only roads. So I took a (four wheel drive) bus trip across the middle of the country, in the course of which I came across a little convoy of Citroen 2CVs (no, they're not 4wd) trundling merrily along.

You're not actually allowed to drive off road in Iceland, though they define "road" quite widely.
